Q&A With Warren Foegele
Game Day routine, favorite music, what he loves about playing in Edmonton and more in my one-on-one interview.
EDMONTON — Warren Foegele is having a career year.
In 56 games he has 13 goals, 16 assists for 29 points. He’s one assist away from matching the career highs he experienced for the Carolina Hurricanes in 2019-20.
I had a chance to speak to Foegele after practice the other day. Here is my conversation with him.

On a scale of 1-10 how superstitious are you?
Probably a five. I think it’s more routine than superstition. [I’m a] routine guy.
Is there a part of your routine or a superstition you have that’s unique to you?
I don’t know if it’s unique to me but I always take a shower once I get to the rink, right away on game days. Every game. Usually guys shower at the hotel and sometimes I do that as well. That’s a unique thing I guess, there’s not many guys in there with me.
What’s your favourite part about playing in a Canadian market like Edmonton?
Probably the passionate fans. It’s a pretty cool thing to play in front of such a passionate fan base and the crowd’s so loud and you know when things are going really well. It’s a really cool feeling.
